Centennial of the “Carol Davila” Faculty of Pharmacy

During the Anniversary Gala on June 12, 2023, held on the occasion of the Centennial of the ‘Carol Davila” Faculty of Pharmacy at the National Opera in Bucharest, the Association for Information, Education, and Prevention in Health (AIEPS) organized the exhibition “Romanian Pharmacy —An Illustrated History”.

The nostalgic essence of the photographs merges the course of distinct eras and episodes, capturing the equivalent of life and profession of pharmacists in images—a carousel of emotions and vestiges of times that, having passed, constitute the foundation of the present and the foundation for the future.

AIEPS thanks the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” — Rector Prof Dr. Viorel Jinga — and the College of Pharmacists of Romania — President Prof. Dr. Dumitru Lupuleasa — for the opportunity to show and strengthen our respect and appreciation for this noble profession.

We also congratulate the Faculty of Pharmacy “Carol Davila” — Dean Prof. Daina Draganescu — for the impeccable organization of this anniversary event, which brought together a significant number of notable personalities from the pharmaceutical, medical, academic, and diplomatic fields.
