HISTORY OF MEDICINE
From the practice of mystical remedies

Before the impact of Hippocrates, considered the father of medicine, the health field was characterized by instinctual practices and various prescriptions, such as those of the Sumerians, Assyrians, or Egyptians.

The remarkable work of Hippocrates marked
the beginning of the formation of an autonomous
medical industry, partially eliminating the influence
of imagery and mystical beliefs in this field.
All these have favored the continuous evolution
in curing diseases and have put an end to any
trace of stagnation regarding the discovery of
remedies and later medical treatments.

To this day, the health industry continues to expand,
evidently by virtue of inertia, with the help and through
scientific discoveries, as is expected and preferable to happen.
